Our local Knights of Columbus council Fr. Justin Cunningham had its Installation Ceremony on July 11, 2023, where the officers for FY 2023-2024 were officially installed. The beautiful ceremony included prayers from our chaplain Fr. Walter Wagner, as well as presentations of the officer medals by spouses, who in turn received a gift from their husbands. Our new officers for 2023 are as follows:

Our new Grand Knight, Charles J Rockacy, spoke of how the Knights intend to keep raising resources for our parish, keep supporting our local community and fellow knights and their families, and continue to provide opportunities to get together. You can see some photos of this event below.

Please join our local Knights this Lent with two recurring community events that will begin after Ash Wednesday on February 22! First, the Knights will be hosting once again our Meatless Soup Suppers every Friday from 5-7pm. This is a fun way to bring your family and experience the beautifully Catholic discipline of fasting and abstinence so that we may grow in holiness together as a parish and catholic Church. Secondly, we will be having our 40 Cans for Lent drive where you can drop off cans, dried goods, and other supplies for the needy at St. Thomas Aquinas and the Knights will relay these items to the food pantries at Holy Comforter downtown and the Church of the Incarnation to support those of our community who are most in need. This is a beautiful opportunity to participate in one of the corporal works of mercy that the Christ asks of His Church.
